Well, it is almost that simple. There are a few things that need to be a part of the equation in order to generate the much desired affiliate sale. But none of them involve lying or pushing people into buying the product. In my experience, I have found that a successful affiliate marketing campaign should...
Provide answers. An honest review of the product that in your own words describes its benefits is exactly what other people are searching for! They are not just looking for a listing of all the features but rather trying to figure out if the product solves their specific problem, if it provides the solution worthy of the purchase. BONUS TIP: many product owners will be happy to give you their product for personal evaluation and review at NO COST!
Provide structure. A good review is comprised of several sections, each addressing one main question – how this product helped you and how it might help your reader. Good and bad that come in succession but are still separated to ensure that the message is loud and clear.
Provide product ratings. Nothing represents a score better then a visual aid. Be it a Thumbs Up, Stars Rating or any other form of visual representation of the overall score. The printed review will speak louder to people on a subconscious level!
Provide customer rating. While all of the above will do the wonders for getting the much desired affiliate sale, an option to allow other people to rate this product and directly influence overall rating of the product is ONE BENEFIT that will speak volumes to your future prospects!
